  • Once you receive and review your policy, if you are not 100% satisfied, just return your policy to us within 603 days and your money will be refunded.

  • If your death occurs due to an accident, independent of sickness and all other causes (all other causes does not apply in Vermont), the full benefit amount will be payable. Death benefits payable for natural causes are reduced during the first two years2 you own the policy, paying 110% of all of the premiums you paid. After two years of coverage, full benefits are payable. (All benefits paid would be less any outstanding policy loan.)     As long as your husband or wife is between 45 and 851 years of age. While each of you can have a maximum of $25,000 of this coverage, the benefit amounts do not have to be the same.

  • You can name ANYONE as beneficiary (i.e. the recipient of the benefits). You can leave the benefits to a spouse, child, other relative, even a friend or a charity you care about. (If no beneficiary is named, benefits are paid into the estate of the insured.)

    Under current federal tax law, this money will go to your beneficiary income tax free.
